The yearly Bayrischzell Workshop has a long tradition that was started by Julius Wess some 30 years ago. We are continuing this tradition in his spirit. The main purpose is and has been to bring up new ideas and to collect established and junior researchers with different viewpoints on the topics in question. We also want to initiate vivid discussions between researchers of related fields, and therefore to find common grounds and to break new ones.
The Bayrischzell Workshop 2014 will focus on noncommutative geometry, quantum geometry and quantum gravity. The aim is to cover both,
mathematical and physical perspectives of these topics.
