Isospectral Quotients of Stiefel Manifolds

A quotient of a compact manifold by a compact group of isometries can be interpreted as an Alexandrov space with associated Laplacian. We use the so-called torus method to construct various isospectral quotients of Stiefel manifolds and present a non-isometry proof for a special case. This is joint work with Alexander Engel.
